PKCS Standards

PKCS Standards

The PKCS standards are all available off the RSA
Labs Web site, which is under RSA Security's main Web site. RSA Labs
are doing on-going standards development in many areas, including
elliptic curve cryptography, currently a proposal for PKCS #13, so
their Web site makes an interesting read in general.

Here are the PKCS standards referred to in this book:

  • q PKCS #1—"RSACryptography Standard," http://www.rsasecurity.com/rsalabs/node.asp?id=2125

  • q PKCS #3—"Diffie-Hellman Key Agreement Standard," http://www.rsasecurity.com/rsalabs/node.asp?id=2126

  • q PKCS #5—"Password-Based Cryptography Standard," http://www.rsasecurity.com/rsalabs/node.asp?id=2127

  • q PKCS #7—"Cryptographic Message Syntax Standard," http://www.rsasecurity.com/rsalabs/node.asp?id=2129

  • q PKCS #8—"Private-Key Information Syntax Standard," http://www.rsasecurity.com/rsalabs/node.asp?id=2130

  • q PKCS #9—"Selected Attribute Types," http://www.rsasecurity.com/rsalabs/node.asp?id=2131

  • q PKCS #10—"Certification Request Syntax Standard," http://www.rsasecurity.com/rsalabs/node.asp?id=2132
